What it is
One instrument, built for one race. It holds everything that has already happened beside everything happening right now, at the same time.
Why it exists
The race is still moving. A number taken a month ago was true a month ago.
What comes out
A zone, green, yellow or red, and what moves first. Not a number handed down with no instruction attached.
What it is for
It tells you where the last dollar moves the most and which door to knock next, and it keeps telling you as the race changes. That is what most campaigns have never had.
The Monitor
Your race, read continuously. Polls measure a day. We measure the days between.
The Scores
One read on one race, taken as a whole. It moves when the race moves.
The heat engine
It finds the heat a district is carrying and where it is already pointed.
It watches the race as it runs, live.
Most reads arrive after the fact.
